The Redeemed christian Church of God, Gombe province today held a sanitation and evangelism exercise operation impact at Tumfure, area of Gombe state, with the theme “Cleanliness is next to Godliness”. Where members of the province in the sanitation ministry rendered their services in cleaning the market to the admiration of market men , women and buyers.
The coordinating officer, Redeemed Christian Church of God, Gombe province, Sanitation Ministry, Pastor Paul Durosinmi, noted that “The church chose to embark on this exercise as a way of giving back to the society to show that the church also cares about them . “Just as the program is called operation impact. It is also a means of evangelism and demonstrating to the society that government alone can not be responsible to the environmental sanitation of our society” he added.
Another member of the Ministry Sis. Damilola, told Justthinkingaloud90.blogspot.com that it was a great opportunity she said “Cleaning and preaching was not easy. “It was tough but people were devoted doing it. “Preaching in Hausa made alot of children come around” she noted.
Members delightfully distributed tracts as the word was being ministered.
