The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) on Saturday, paraded 16 suspects terrorising Bwari Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), and other parts of the country.


Parading the suspects in Abuja, the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi said “the arrest of the suspects comes in response to the pressing need for enhanced security measures in the nation’s capital.”
Our correspondent reports that the Minister of Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike, and the Inspector General of Police in their separate remarks warned perpetrators of criminal activities to quit or risk being nabbed.
As part of measures to check insecurity in Federal Capital Territory, Wike has ordered the demolition of uncompleted buildings, stressing that they have become hideouts for criminals.
