Gombe State Commissioner for Environment and Forest Resources Dr. Hussaina Goje, on Friday said the ministry has embarked on fumigation of Government House to decontaminate offices.

According to the Commissioner, “We started right before the sallah break, focusing on high risk areas, And again yesterday with the whole government house and we also went to the deputy governor’s office as well as the covid-19 office so that we can reduce the outbreak of covid-19.
“Today we have just finished with fumigating the House of Assembly and the high Court complex. This is ongoing at the moment, as i speak my team is still working, for us there is no weekend from there we will move straight to public areas most especially our markets, and motor parks.”
She added that biodiversity remains the answer to a number of sustainable development challenges that we face, from nature based solutions to climate, to food, water security and sustainable livelihoods.
