Goje disclosed this during a conference on the commemoration of World Environment day with the theme Biodiversity; A concern that is both urgent and existential.

She said this is part of effort to keep Gombe state safe and reduce community transmission of Covid-19.

According to the Commissioner, “We started right before the sallah break, focusing on high risk areas, And again yesterday with the whole government house and we also went to the deputy governor’s office as well as the covid-19 office so that we can reduce the outbreak of covid-19.

“Today we have just finished with fumigating the House of Assembly and the high Court complex. This is ongoing at the moment, as i speak my team is still working, for us there is no weekend from there we will move straight to public areas most especially our markets, and motor parks.”

She added that biodiversity remains the answer to a number of sustainable development challenges that we face, from nature based solutions to climate, to food, water security and sustainable livelihoods.

Thinking outside of the box in news gathering. Relating issues without bias, fundamentally a voice to the voiceless.
