Gombe Deputy Gov mourns FUK’s Staff, Mathew Simon, condoles PA Sani Abubakar over daughter’s demise
The Gombe State Deputy Governor, Dr. Manassah Daniel Jatau, has mourned the death of Mathew Simon, a staff of Federal University Kashere, who died of protracted sickness recently.
The Deputy Governor delivered the message of condolence through a delegation led by his Special Assistant, Mr. Victor Helma Kulani at his home town, Kalaring in Kaltungo local Headquarters.
In the message of condolence, the Deputy Governor lamented that the deceased died at his prime with many unfulfilled dreams.

He described the deceased as a promising person, who devoted himself in community service, church and family leaving lasting imprints while impacting humanity.
He said the society had looked up to him for greater achievements and more positive contributions making his exit very painful, leaving a vacuum that can hardly be filled.
Jatau admonished the family and all sympathisers to accept the death as God’s judgement that cannot be reversed.
Responding separately, the Garkuwan Kalaring, and Mother of the deceased appreciated the condolence visit , praying God to reward the Deputy Governor abundantly.
While at the residence of the Personal Assistant to the Governor, Alh. Sani Abubakar (PA), the deputy Governor expressed his heartfelt sympathy with him and family over the death of his daughter, who died recently.
The Deputy Governor who was at his Federal Low Cost residence in company of the Commissioner for Justice, Alh. Zubairu Umar Mohammed explained that the death of a child is very painful in view of expectations parents have in the child, adding that , “because from God we came and to him we return, humans should accept it as one of necessities of life.”
He urged the parents to take solace, and leave everything to Almighty God who alone has power over matters of life and death, praying God to grant the deceased soul eternal rest.
Speaking on behalf of the family, Alh. Salisu Danmaliki, appreciated the visit, praying God to reward the Deputy Governor and his entourage.
