Gombe Pilgrims commence visits to holy sites
The first flight of the state contingent of this year’s Hajj exercise are now in Medina city after their safe landing at King Abdulazeez international airport Jiddah.

According to the head of media of Gombe State Muslim Pilgrim Welfare Board Hajiya Hauwa Muhammad, the state pligrims commenced visitations of sacred places like Masjidul Quba first mosque built by prophet Muhammad and his companions, Baqiyya cemetery where more than seventy companions of Prophet Muhammad were laid to rest among others.

According to her, all the 508 Pilgrims are in good health condition and are living in a befitting accommodation less than 400 metres from the Holy mosque of Prophet Muhammad.
Periscope Nigeria reports that officials of board, Islamic Scholars as well as health personnel guided the Pilgrims on the rudiments of Hajj exercise and visitations.
According to the information officer they prayed for the state and the country in general.
