GoHealth visits GSU to discuss modalities for upcoming health plan for tertiary students
Ahead of the commencement of GoHealth’s Tertiary Institute Students Health Insurance Programme (TISHIP), the Gombe State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency were at the Gombe State University.


Addressing the University leadership, the Agency’s Team Lead Dr. Abubakar Musa, reiterated the commitment of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya to ensure Universal Health Coverage for all.

Musa expressed the need for health coverage especially for students, as it would save the students unnecessary medical costs while in school, and create fiscal injections for the management of the school clinic in line with the objectives of the agency and the newly signed National Health Insurance Authority Law
Receiving the delegation on behalf of the Registrar, the Provost, College of Medical Sciences, Prof. Babagana Bako described the scheme as chivalrous, and expressed confidence in GoHealth to deliver.
The provost, in the company of Dr. Bunu Wali Gombe, the Director University Hospital Services, took the delegation round the newly constructed University Clinic, and promised to give all the necessary support for the smooth take off of the programme.
