Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state has condoled Senator Kabiru Ibrahim Gaya over the death of his son Sadiq Kabiru Gaya.

 

 

According to a press statement made available by Abba Anwar, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor described the deceased as disciplined, righteous and man of the people,

The statement partly read, “Though we all loved him, but Allah loves his the most. Ours is to pray for him to get Allah’s Forgiveness and Jannah.

“On behalf of the government and good people of Kano state, we are sending our condolences to our Distinguished Senator, Kabiru Ibrahim Gaya and his entire family members for the great loss,” he prayed.

Adding that, “May Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala forgive all his shortcomings and reward his good deeds. We received the information of his death with shock.”

The governor who was in Senator Gaya’s residence in Abuja to personally commiserate with him and the family, said “the loss was not only for the Senator and his family, but to us, as a government and the state as a whole.”
