Zamfara Gov Upgrades, Harmonises Monthly Pensions of 19 Retired Permanent Secretaries
The Zamfara state Governor, Bello Mohammed Matawallen, has upgraded and harmonised the pensions of 19 retired permanent secretaries of the state civil service.

According to the Commissioner for Information Ibrahim Dosara, this was contained in a public announcement by the Head of the state Civil Service Alh Kabiru Mohammed Gayyari.
Periscope Nigeria reports that the 19 retired permanent secretaries whose monthly take home pensions are far less than the earnings of permanent secretaries who retired recently, are now to enjoy equal monthly pensions.
“As the present government is all inclusive with open door policy, we are committed to ensuring justice and to carry everybody along to contribute positively to the development of our dear state,” Matawalle said.
Commenting on the gesture, the Head of the state Civil Service Gayyari commended Matawalle for the foresight in upgrading the monthly pensions of the retired legendary technocrats.
The Head of the state Civil Service said the gesture is a motivating factor for the entire civil service and called on all the civil servants to reciprocate he gesture by supporting government’s policies and programmes.
