Gombe NSCDC Commandant Now Assistant Commandant General

The Gombe State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Waziri Baba Goni, has been promoted to Assistant Commandant General, by the Commandant General Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi.
Goni was decorated by the Honourable Minister of Interior Rauf Aregbesola, who was represented by Maj. Gen. Emmanuel Bassey (retd.), Commissioner in Charge of Discipline And General purpose, Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Service Board (CDCFIB).
Our Correspondent reports that this was sequel to his promotion by the CDCFIB, however, the decoration ceremony took place at the National Headquarters Conference Hall Abuja.
Recall that Eight Deputy Commandants were elevated to the position of Commandants while 45 Commandants, including Goni got promoted to the rank of Assistant Commandant General of the Corps.
