The State Coordinator NYSC Gombe, Mr Dawut Jidda, has called on Corps members to play with caution, bearing in mind that sports and games were included in the course content for entertainment to enable them keep fit and not a do or die affair.
Jidda, made that known while declaring closed the 2023 Batch B Stream I Inter-platoon sports competition at NYSC temporary orientation camp Amada, Gombe State.
“We came to this camp with our two legs. I would love to see you leave hale and hearty” he said
At the end of the tournament, platoon one emerged victorious in both Volleyball and Football.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that for the football category Platoon one defeated its rival Platoon 10, while in the Volleyball category Platoon one also disrupted the chances of Platoon two thereby clinching the prized trophy.
