Newly appointed teachers laud Gov Yahaya over Maiguwa’s reappointment
Some of the newly recruited 1000 teachers on hearing the news of the reappointment of Mrs Naomi Maiguwa, lauded the Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Yahaya, for rewarding performance.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA gathered based on their reactions that her selflessness and commitment to work, finally paid off with the Gombe State Government reappointing her.
Recall that Maiguwa was one of the seven names that were appointed by Governor Yahaya.
Mr Daniel Maigwa Iliya, one of the newly recruited teachers shared his testimony about how she reacted to him when he got the appointment.
Iliya wrote, “Congratulations mama, I remember when I got this appointment, I personally went to her and introduced myself as Iliya Daniel Maigwa, she jokingly replied and said, People will petition her for favouring her son, I quickly replied and said, Ma’am you are a mother to all the 1,000 newly recruited teachers not only me.”
Also, Mr Jordan Caleb Tabak, who lauded the Chairperson’s reappointment added, “We got this appointment because she made sure we deserve it and followed due process. This woman stood her ground and made sure integrity and competence are the bed rock of the process.”
Tabak added, “Thank God, for her reappointment. I’m sure her ideologies are in tune with the governor’s vision and foresight to revitalise the educational sector in Gombe State. Long Live TSC, Ministry of Education, Gombe State and Federal Republic of Nigeria.
While lauding the governor’s effort, Tabak said the appointment of right persons would ensure that Gombe succeeds especially the educational sector.
“A big congratulations to Ma’am (Maiguwa) for the deserved reappointment by His Excellency Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.
“Ma’am wishing you (Maiguwa) Allah’s protection and guidance in discharging your duties and responsibilities,” he added.
Our correspondent reports that majority of the 1000 recruited teachers have expressed happiness about her reappointment, commending her attitude to work especially how she treated most of them during and after recruitment process.
They urged God to protect Maiguwa and give her more wisdom to carry out her duty diligently.
