He gave the charge on Monday, 13th October 2025, during the decoration ceremony of officers who benefitted from the 2025 Nigerian Army Senior Officers’ Promotion Exercise, held at the Python Officers’ Mess in Port Harcourt.

Addressing the officers, Major General Emekah congratulated them on their elevation to the rank of Colonel, describing the promotion as both a recognition of merit and a call to higher responsibility.

“You must display very high standards worthy of emulation,” the GOC said. “Your new rank comes with greater expectations. You must be known for your integrity, professionalism, and commitment to the service of our dear nation.”
