Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the General Manager of Progress Radio and Television, Gombe, Hajiya Sadiya Ibrahim Biu, over the death of her husband, Alhaji Shehu Usman Abdullahi, who passed away earlier today in Abuja.
In a condolence message, Governor Inuwa Yahaya described the late Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Bakano Oil and Gas as a visionary entrepreneur and dependable family pillar whose life was defined by hard work.
This was contained in a press statement issued by Director-General Press Affairs Gombe Government House Ismaila Misilli.
The governor noted that before venturing into private business, the deceased built a distinguished career with leading corporate organisations, including the Dangote Group, Dansa Group and MRS Oil Nigeria Plc, where he earned a reputation for diligence, competence and commitment to excellence.
He said Alhaji Shehu’s remarkable contributions to business development and entrepreneurship, coupled with his exemplary character, earned him respect of colleagues, associates and members of his community.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya extended his sympathies to Hajiya Sadiya Ibrahim Biu, their children, the entire bereaved family, the management and staff of Progress Radio, the deceased’s friends and business associates, as well as the people of the Biu Emirate, praying Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive his shortcomings, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus.
