Gombe NYSC coordinator charges Camp Officials on teamwork, diligence
The State Coordinator NYSC Gombe, Mrs Ada Imoni has charged Camp Officials on cooperation and discipline in order to have a hitch free Orientation Course.
Mrs Imoni, made that known at the general meeting of Camp Officials held at NYSC Temporary Orientation Camp Amada, Gombe State.

She maintained that as a way of ensuring a successful Orientation exercise, the theme for the 2021 Batch C Stream I Orientation Course would be ” TEAMWORK, DILIGENCE AND DISCIPLINE” She added that any Camp official not ready to carry out his schedule as it should be would be decamped and sanctioned accordingly.
On security, Mrs Imoni emphasized on the need for all to be vigilant and take security very seriously and to beef up security, there would be internal patrol by Security Agencies within and outside the Camp.
She added that movement in and out of the Camp would be restricted as the Covid 19 safety measures and protocols would be adhered to strictly.

Mrs Imoni, while speaking on participation in camp activities, implored camp Officials to attend and participate in every activity in the Orientation Course content. ” If we expect Corps members to be active and take activities packaged for the Orientation Course seriously, we must lead by example” she maintained
While cautioning Camp Officials on good behavior, Mrs Imoni gave Stern warning on extortion of Corps members in whatever guise. ” Everything on camp is free, including services rendered. No corps member should be charged for registration,posting and relocation among other things. Anyone caught will be sanctioned” she added.
Speaking on good morals, the State Coordinator emphasized on the need to avoid over socialisation with Corps members, adding that the role of Camp Officials is to groom and mould Corps members for nation building.
In their various submissions, the Camp Commandant Captain UK Eloagu, the Camp Director Mr Alhassan Ndako Bida and the Resident Officer one, Hajiya Hassana Magaji resounded the key points in the brief of the State Coordinator and stressed on the need for all to undertake the Covid 19 Rapid Diagnostic Test.
