NPC sensitises stakeholders in Kwami ahead of trial census
The National Population Commission (NPC), on Thursday, sensitised stakeholders from Gombe North Senatorial district ahead of the trial census coming up in July as well as the 2023 National Population and Housing census.
Speaking during a sensitisation meeting held in Kwami, Federal Commissioner National Population Commission, Abubakar Mohammed Danburam urged residents to cooperate with NPC personnel for the success of the trial census.
According to Danburam, the cooperation of the various communities would contribute immensely to the accurate figures of the trial census.

Danburam disclosed that the Commission wants to partner with the stakeholders for the successful conduct of the census.
The Federal Commissioner who was a former council boss in Kwami Local Government, assured that the results would be credible, revealing that the functionaries are been trained with high definition equipment.
On his part, Chairman Kwami Local Government Ibrahim Buba commended NPC for choosing Kwami to host the meeting for Gombe North senatorial district.
Buba who was represented by his Deputy Musa Kolo, who asked people of the Local Government to liaise with the Commission in order to achieve its aims of preparing towards a credible population and housing census in 2023.
