Gombe SSG attends PS daughter’s wedding
The Modibbo Bubayero Central Mosgue Gombe was Saturday filled to capacity as family members, friends and wellwishers converged as Permanent Secretary SSG’s office Alhaji Mohammed Umar gave out his daughter Aisha Mohammed Umar in marriage to her groom Yusuf Abdulrazak.
The marriage which was consummated after the payment of N250,000 dowry also featured the wedding fatihah of Aliyu Mohamed Umar a son to the Permanent Secretary to his bride Aisha Abdullahi Umar.
The Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi who stood in for Mohammed Umar’s family formally gave out Aisha in marriage to her husband Yusuf Abdulrazak.
The SSG used the occasion to admonish the newly wedded couples to commit themselves to the will of Allah in all their dealings with one another.
Njodi further enjoined their respective families and friends to support them in prayers and useful counsel for the success of their marital life.
Periscope Nigeria reports that opulent reception in honour of guests was held at Federal College of Education Technical Gombe.
