Gov Yahaya attends wedding Fatiha of Bala Waja three Daughters
Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya represented by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi was among hundreds of well wishers who attended the wedding Fatihah of Bala Waja Alh. Danjuma Mohammed three Daughters in Tallasse the headquarters of Balanga Local Government Area of the State.
Conveying the Governor’s goodwill message, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) Prof. Njodi congratulated the monarch for the success of the event and wished the newly wedded couples a happy married life advising them to imbibe the spirit of tolerance, patience and fidelity while their married lasts.
Prof. Njodi was accompanied by top Government officials amongst them were Commissioners, Special Advisers, Directors Generals and Permanent Secretary Special services and Political.
The governor used the occasion to harp peaceful co-existence amongst communities of Waja Chiefdom and beyond assuring of Government continued resolve in maintaining peace which is a catalyst for every human development.
On his part, Bala Waja Alh. Danjuma Mohammed thanked the Governor for the honour done to him and his entire Chiefdom pledging continued support to government policies and programmes.
Periscope Nigeria reports that the three weddings include; Musa and Maryam, Danladi and Rabiyatu, Sanusi and Amina contracted after the pronouncement of N50,000 dowry each by the Chief imam of Talasse, Alh. Ahmadu Usman.
Other dignitaries that attended are; Honourable Musa Buba, Ali Isa Jessi, Mai Kaltungo and the Mai Tangle.
Other Emirs present were that of Akko, Pindiga, Gona, Nafada, Funakaye and the Polo Dadiya.
Special prayers were offered for Allah’s guidance to the newly wed.
