Hajj 2022: Gombe Muslim Pilgrims Board Secretary harps orderliness
To ensure success of this year’s Hajj exercise and to reduce unorganised movement of the state contingent in this year’s hajj exercise the Executive Secretary Gombe state Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Alhaji Sa’adu Hassan has directed all the relevant stakeholders to wake up to their responsibilities.

Speaking during a meeting in preparation of transportation of the Pilgrims from the Holy city of Mecca to Muna and Arfat for the commencement of the Hajj operations, the secretary urged the Hajj officers of the eleven local government areas in the state to update the pilgrims on the new policies of Saudi Arabia on the Hajj exercise.
The meeting had in attendance Chairman of the board Gombe state Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board who is also the Emir of Dukku Alhaji AbdulKadir Harunar- Rasheed II, board members and the officials of the board as well as Islamic scholars.
During the meeting the Executive Secretary commended the effort of the Islamic scholars for enlightening the pilgrims on how to conduct their religious obligations properly.
In a remark the Chairman Gombe state Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Alhaji AbdulKadir Harunar-Rasheed reiterated the board’s determination of working harmoniously with the Islamic scholars and all the relevant stakeholders for the smooth conduct of exercise calling on the pilgrims to concentrate on what brought them to the holy land and give all the necessary support and cooperation to the officials of the board.
He seized the opportunity to reiterate his call on the pilgrims to pray
fervently for the country in view of the calamities bedeviling it.

According to the Hauwa Muhammad the head of media of the board, all has been set for the transportation of the pilgrims to the holy places of worship such as Muna, Arfat, Musdalifa down to the area of stoning the devil and finally back to the holy city of Mecca for final circumambulation (Tawaf).
