‘Use the beauty in the nation’s diversity to strengthen our bond’, says Gombe NYSC Coordinator
The State Coordinator NYSC Gombe, Mrs Ada Imoni has called on Corps members to use the beauty in the nation’s diversity in order to strengthen our bond.
Imoni, made that known while declaring open the 2022 Batch ‘B’Stream I Cultural Carnival at NYSC Temporary Orientation Camp Amada, Gombe State.
She maintained that Nigeria, a nation rich in different cultures and traditions has a lot of potentials in it’s youths, adding that by appreciating and cherishing cultures and traditions other than their, they would be striving towards one of the objectives of the Scheme; national unity and integration.
Different ethnic groups ranging from Ijaw, Fulani, Tangale, Sayawa, Hausa, Edo and Tiv among others were showcased at the occasion.
Platoon one emerged winner in cooking competition and platoon seven came first in dance.
