Gombe Govt hosts NMA Executives

The State Government has reiterated its commitment to working with meaningful organisations in the administration’s quest to improve the wellbeing of the citizenry.

The Secretary to the State Government Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi stated this on Friday, when he played host to state leadership of the Nigeria Medical Association NMA at the Government House Gombe.

Njodi who acknowledged the contributions of the Association the development of the social wellbeing of the people revealed government readiness for partnership.
He also commended the state chapter of the Association for securing the hosting rite of the National Executive Council meeting of NMA scheduled for this month assuring government’s support in that direction.

Earlier, the chairman of the Central Organizing Committee Dr. Kefas Paul Zawaya, had informed the SSG that the visit was to introduce the state executive of the Association as well as brief government on the coming National Executive Council of Association slated to hold in Gombe this month.
Zawaya said the week long NEC meeting will feature facility tour and medical outreach to communities in the State.
The meeting according to Dr.Zawaya will hold from the 29th of August to 4th of September 2022.
