2023: TINUBU/Shettima Support Group Appoints Khalid Ahmed Kumo as North-East Zonal Secretary
The Tinubu/Shettima Youth and Students Support Group has appointed Hon. Khalid Ahmed Kumo as Northeast Zonal Secretary of the group.
The Tinubu/Shettima Youth & Students Support Group is a National platform created to promote the candidature of His Excellency, Senator Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and His Excellency, Senator Kashim Shettima of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The group is recognised as a registered support group of the All Progressives Congress by the National Chairman Sen. Abdullahi Adamu in a letter dated 9th August 2022.
The Appointment was contained in the press release of the group made available to Periscope Nigeria, which was signed by the National Coordinator, Comr. Shettima Umar, GCNS.
The press statement partly read, “I am pleased to inform the general public of the nomination and approval of the following Progressives into the Northeast Executive Council.
“Abdulrahman Yahaya (Bauchi), Zonal Coordinator; Rt. Hon. Khalid Ahmed Kumo (Gombe), Zonal Secretary; Malami Alhaji Fugu (Borno), Zonal Director of Students; Muhammad Shuaibu (Yobe), Zonal Director of Youth; Citizen Ismaila Abdullahi Bida (Adamawa), Zonal Director of Contact and Mobilization; Muhammad Tukur Said (Taraba), Zonal Director of Special Duties; Sanitarian Ibrahim Bg (Borno), Zonal Director of Media and Publicity. All appointments take immediate effect.”

Hon. Khalid Ahmed Kumo, is the pioneer Speaker of the Gombe State Youth Parliament and Serving member representing Gombe Central in the Nigerian Youth Parliament.
He has been an active member of the All Progressives Congress at the grassroots and has been working for the success of the party at all levels.
