Gombe Deputy Gov urges Christians to prioritise building of Churches, spreading of gospel
The State Deputy Governor, Dr. Manassah Daniel Jatau, has called on Christians to consider building of the house of God than concentrating on decorating their own houses.
The Deputy Governor made the call during the launching of their Church’s branch building at Christ Holy Church International, near Timber Market, Gombe.
The Church has organised the launching of a twelve million naira Church branch at Tumfure, in the Metropolis.
The Deputy Governor quoted the book of Haggai Chapter one to the end and called on the Christians to run away from the wrath of God by building the house of God so that God will not have to punish them by withholding his blessings.
He said,” These days there is nothing that gives pleasure. Unpleasant things are happening everyday and it seems to be worst than that described in the book of Timothy about perilous times, when people will say ” I have no pleasure in them.”
He assured of his continuous support to the Church and any other activity geared towards expanding the Kingdom of God on earth.
The Deputy Governor commended the Officials and members of the Church for their effort towards building their branch in Tumfure, praying God to bless their efforts.

In his remarks, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Intercommunity Relations, Prince Chidebulu Ewuzie, donated the sum of fifty thousand naira and reiterated his continued commitment to supporting the Church building project at any point in time to it’s completion.
