Housing Scheme: Zamafara Gov Secures 40% Rebate for Civil Servants
Zamfara State Government under the leadership of Bello Mohammed Matawallen, has secured 40 percent discount for civil servants occupying Daza Housing Estate in the state capital Gusau.
According to Commissioner for Information Ibrahim Dosara, this is part of the state government efforts to provide affordable accommodation to the state civil servants with their families and to reduce their hardship.

He noted that a release from the office of the Head of the state Civil Service said this was part of the Governor’s achievements during the last official trip to Abuja.
The 168 housing units initially sold at 6.8 million naira is now 4million for the occupants.
The 40 percent rebate of the standing cost of the Daza Housing Estate which is under the Federal Mortgage housing scheme allocated to Zamfara state civil servants will go along way in bringing relief to the civil servants.
The government also obtained a waiver of 84 million Naira accrued interest on the 168 Daza housing estate on behalf of the civil servants.
In a related development, the 58 housing units which were about to be called for liquidation have also been secured. The Head of the State Civil Service Alh Kabiru Momammed said this has been the most outstanding achievement of recent time in the state.
