Tinubu turns prayer warrior, marriage counsellor at Gombe Gov son’s wedding
The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on Saturday, held all invitees at the wedding ceremony of Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Yahaya’s son, Misbau spellbound as he acted a wedding counsellor and prayer warrior.
He sought successful marriage life for the couples as well as advised the young couples Misbau and Amirah Yahaya on marriage etiquettes.

Tinubu, his running mate, Kashim Shettima, the Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, the minister for communication and digital economy, Prof. Isa Pantami, governors Ahmad Fintiri (Adamawa), Abdulkadir Muhammed (Bauchi), Mala Bini (Yobe), Abdullah Sule (Nasarawa) and Prof. Babagana Zulum (Borno) and former governor Danjuma Goje of Gombe among others were in Gombe to honour Governor Yahaya’s son wedding.
Tinubu prayed for the couples: (my prayer for you is happiness in marriage; happiness at home and happiness everywhere you go.”
He however preached tolerance and understanding for successful marriage life.
“I advise you people that though marriage is easy but as it is, you must learn to always hold conversation with each other; you must learn to always talk with each other.
“Our prayer is that Almighty Allah will grant you children as well as wisdom and strength to do same for your own children,” he sought.
Acknowledging that though not not yet time for campaign, Tinubu thanked the people of North East for their role at the APC presidential primaries and urged them to ensure that he becomes the next president in 2023.
According to him: “North East people, what you have done in the past I appreciate. Now that your son is my running mate, you have to double your efforts.”
Also speaking at the reception held at the Government House banquet hall, Senate President Ahmed Lawan urged Tinubu to see the zone as his next home after the South West: “this is your next zone after South West; this is your safe zone,” he said.
Speaking earlier, Tinubu’s running mate, Kashim Shettima pleaded for people’s support for Tinubu who he said would transform the entire zone beyond expectations.
