Eid el-Fitri: Gombe Deputy Gov Greets Muslim ummah
On behalf of myself, family, Governor and Government of Gombe State I, Manassah Daniel Jatau PhD, the Deputy Governor of Gombe State wishes to rejoice with all the Muslim Faithfuls over Eid el-Fitri Sallah Celebration.
The Eid el-Fitri Sallah Celebration comes after pious religious activities of fasting, worship and sacrifices in devotion to Almighty Allah who rewards piety.
It is therefore my ardent prayer that God in his infinite mercies accept all the worship and sacrifices and bless not only the muslims but non- muslims alike for the purpose of peaceful coexistence and overall socio-economic development of the state and the nation.
It is also my prayer that, the Governor, Alh. Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, (the Dan Majen Gombe), and all other Muslim Faithfuls who went for Lesser Hajj, return back in safety.
May the Almighty God grant us peaceful Sallah celebration, and peaceful conduct of national population and housing census as well as a bountiful harvest this year.
