The Secretary to Government of Gombe State, Prof Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, and Chairman North-East SGS Forum is leading his colleagues and members of the Technical group with representation from each state in a session.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that the meeting is aimed at drawing the agenda for their principals the governors ahead of their 11th meeting scheduled for Thursday in Damaturu, the Yobe State capital.
In an address of welcome Njodi expressed concern over the resurfacing of the Boko Haram insurgency.


He appealed to the Nigerian government and international community to devise a sustainable plan that will bring to a final end to the Boko Haram insurgency in the North-East and other crime and criminality across the Nigerian state.
A minute silence was observed for the respose of those who lost their lives in some recent attacks by the insurgent in Borno states.
In attendance were; the host SGS Baba Malam wali mni, Adamawa Auwal Bamanga Tukur, Borno Alh Tijjani Bukar, Gombe Prof Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, Taraba Barr. G.T. Kataps and Bauchi, Aminu Hammayo.
Others are members of the technical group from each state and the Director-General of the North-East Governor’s Forum Umar Musa Gulani.
