The Gombe Network of Civil Society (GONET) has congratulated Dr. Ishiyaku Muhammad Musa on his appointment as a Federal Permanent Secretary by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing it as a well-deserved recognition of merit and service.
In a statement issued on Tuesday and signed by its Chairman, Ibrahim Yusuf 3000, GONET said Dr. Ishiyaku’s elevation reflects his years of dedication, integrity, and commitment to the growth of Nigeria’s public sector.
“This prestigious appointment is a testament to Dr. Ishiyaku’s unwavering commitment, competence, and years of dedicated service to the public sector,” Yusuf said. “His elevation reflects not only personal merit but also brings pride to the people of Gombe State and the broader civil society community.”
The group expressed confidence that Dr. Ishiyaku would bring excellence, discipline, and innovation to his new role, contributing meaningfully to national development and the promotion of good governance.
“We are confident that Dr. Ishiyaku will bring integrity, excellence, and innovation to his new role, further advancing the goals of good governance and national development,” the statement added.

GONET also reaffirmed its readiness to collaborate with the new Permanent Secretary in efforts aimed at enhancing transparency, accountability, and inclusive governance in Nigeria.
