Father’s day celebration:
This began with a poem recitation by a representative of the children’s church on “My Father”.
The Teenage drama group displayed two families one with a father that was depicted as being fatherly and responsible to his responsibilities and the other with a father not “awake” to the goals and aspirations of his family. He preferred to pay school fees while his wife fend for their upkeep. Fortunately, he repented after coming in contact with the other family .
Solution Drama unit, depicted a man, wife and child. Previously singing different songs. While their mum yelled for them to have devotion, the father called on his son to go and gamble (bet naija). The lord had mercy and restored the family when a man of God visited them and charged him, the father to be fatherly, to be responsive and responsible. This brought about a new beginning in the family.
