Gombe state Governor, Alh. Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has restated that his administration stands on the ideals of the governing All Progressives Congress, APC and will continue to champion the party’s lofty values.
He started this in a courtesy visit to Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Mr. Boss Mustapha, in Abuja, on his reappointment, as part of his efforts to strengthen relationship with key stakeholders for the progress and development of the state. This was according to a release signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor, Media and Publicity, Alh. Ismaila Uba Misilli, it states
Governor Yahaya, assures that Gombe state will continue to support President Muhammadu Buhari next level agenda of transforming Nigeria and taking the country to greater heights.
” In Gombe state, we stand on the ideals of the APC, we will fight corruption and instill discipline. We will continue to support Federal government’s policies and programmes and what Mr. President stands for”.
“As a Government, we are aware of the responsibilities and expectations on us, and we will work assiduously to bring the desired change in line with our promises to the good people of Gombe State”, Governor Yahaya said.
He congratulated Mr. Boss Mustapha on his reappointment and looked forward to more robust relationship and partnership between Gombe state and the SGF’s office in particular, and the Federal government in general in the overall interest of the state.
