The 2019 Batch C Stream one Corps members deployed to Gombe State have been given a stern warning on embarking on unauthorised journeys in the course of the service year.
Speaking at the debriefing of the Corps members held at NYSC Temporary Orientation Camp ,Amada, on Sunday Mr David Markson, said the NYSC Bye-laws would be used on defaulters.” You must apply for permission to travel through the proper channel of communication and obtain permission before embarking on any Journey. It is disheartening to note that the major cause of death is accident, mostly corps members who travel without permission” he said.
Markson also educated Corps members on posting,reporting at place of primary assignment, payment of allowances, biometrics clearance, routine inspection of Corps locations, NYSC honours Award, security and post camp Skill Acquisition
and Entrepreneurship Development Training among other things.
