Dakama stated that on Saturday at a lecture delivered on the Act at the NYSC Temporary Orientation Camp Amada.

She maintained that Corps members as agents of change will be used especially at the grassroots to enlighten the public on the provisions contained in the Act and their rights to request for information from the NYSC.

According to her , making such information available to the public would bring activities of the  Scheme to light and also avoid filling in the blanks by persons denied such information.

“Corps members should be part of the quest for restoration of the values of the Scheme, including honest and transparent leadership” she added.

Dakama who lectured the 913 corps members

was assisted by two corps lawyers who took their time to speak on areas of exemption and features of the Act among other things.

Thinking outside of the box in news gathering. Relating issues without bias, fundamentally a voice to the voiceless.
