Gombe State Deputy Governor Dr. Manassah Daniel Jatau has mourned the passing away of an Elder Statesman and Political Icon Mr. Nuhu Poloma who died recently.
Poloma a former chairman of People’s Democratic Party in the State.
According to a press statement which was made available to our correspondent by Wilson Yakubu, Chief Press Secretary to the number two citizen of the state, the Deputy Governor described the deceased as one of the people who contributed immensely in development of Tangale Waja and entire humanity.
The Deputy Governor lamented his demise adding that it came at a time when his advice is much needed to move the state forward.
Jatau called on the people to emulate his philanthropic gesture towards assisting humanity, pointing out that the deceased would be greatly missed by all who crossed his part in this life.
He prayed God to grant repose to the deceased soul and strength for us to be able to bear the pains.
