No fewer than 766, 2019 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Corps members, on Thursday, completed their National service in Gombe State.
Supervising the issuance of Certificates across Billiri, Yalmatu Deba, Kaltungo LGA’s, the State Coordinator, Mrs Yaakugh Florence, urged the Corps members to imbibe the values instilled in them during the service year by shunning any form of social vices as they commence the next phase of their lives.
Yaakugh said the era of white collar jobs was long gone, adding that they should think of what to do to make ends meet as the Federal Government allowance will cease as soon as they are issued their Certificate of National Service.
She added that as directed by the Director-General, Brigadier-general Shuaibu Ibrahim, Corps members have been allocated numbers and spread across ten days for collection of Certificate of National Service, in order to adhere to the protocols of the Covid-19 .
She said, “I implore you to start small and watch it grow into a business empire. I see great Entrepreneurs and employers of labour soon.
“Check your Certificate before laminating and also photocopy it along with your ID card to serve as means of identification before travelling back home.”
