Gombe State Government on Monday ratified the purchase of two Sport utility vehicles at the rate of 113 million naira.
Disclosing this to newsmen in Gombe, the commissioner for Information, Alhassan Ibrahim said the vehicle will service the deputy governor, Manassah Jatau.
Ibrahim revealed this after the State Executive Council meeting, which held at the government house.
Among items ratified by the council includes; purchase of two sport utility vehicle, covid-19 palliative, road and school construction.
According to him, “The council approved the purchase of two land cruiser, for the usage of the deputy governor at 113 million naira.
“We also ratified additional 1.9Billion naira for Jekadafari township road, initially we have paid 1.5 Bn , which was inherited from the former government to further construct more roads bringing the total to 3.4 Bn.
“The council also ratified the approval for purchase of a propertyin kumbiya-kumbiya, for 35 million naira. Kumbiya-Kumbiya is the only ward in the state that does not have primary school, government deemed it fit to establish one and a property was acquired for the construction of primary school in that ward.
“The council also ratified the approval of 61million naira for the committee on palliative, the amount has been approved but not ratified by the executive council.”
