Success Ossai, an aide to the Delta State Governor, has expressed disappointment over actress Regina Daniels’ recent decision to flaunt a new mansion despite unresolved controversies surrounding her marriage to Senator Ned Nwoko.
In a statement shared on his social media page, Ossai said he found the actress’s action insensitive, considering the ongoing allegations of drug abuse and domestic violence involving her and her husband.
“I’m really disappointed in Regina Daniels. Buying a house at a time when she’s not emotionally stable is not something to celebrate,” Ossai said.
“I’m not happy she bought a house; in fact, I’m disappointed. This is someone who was recently accused by her husband of being a drug addict and responded with different videos online. Instead of showing off a new property, she should come out clearly to tell Nigerians whether or not those allegations are true.”
Ossai also reminded the public that Regina Daniels had previously accused her husband of domestic violence but has since remained silent about the state of her marriage.
“Up till now, she hasn’t told us if she’s staying in the marriage or not. Nigerians deserve an explanation. She can’t just reappear on social media in the midst of allegations of drug abuse and domestic violence, and suddenly start showing off a new house,” he added.
He concluded by stating that many Nigerians were disappointed by the actress’s recent actions.
“We are disappointed,” Ossai said.
