State Commandant, Nigeria security And Civil Defence Corps,NSCDC Gombe State Command,Altine Sani Umar, on Tuesday received an Award of excellence as an ICON OF PEACE.
According to a statement signed by the command’s Public Relations Officer, ASC Saad Buhari, which was made available to our correspondent, “The award was conferred on Commandant Umar by the Association of Northern Nigerian Students (ANNS) in recognition of her effort in curbing insecurity, selflessness service to humanity, maintaining moral upbringing and Nation building at large,” the statement said.
Umar was also presented during the award ceremony with a medal of honour (GCNNS) Grand Commander Of Northern Nigerian Students.
