Gombe state Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, on Saturday attended the wedding fatiha of Saleh Ibrahim Saleh, son of his bosom friend and business mogul, Alhaji Ibrahim Saleh Hassan.
The wedding fatiha took place at the Late Saleh Hassan Mosque, unguwar Gangare, Jos and was presided over by Sheikh Nasir Abdulmuhyi.
According to Ismaila Uba Misilli, Senior Special Assistant to the Gombe state governor on Media and Publicity, Governor Yahaya stood in as Wakil (representative) for the groom (Saleh) and received the bride ( Fadimatu) on his behalf through her Waliy, Alhaji Musa Mohammed after announcement of 100, 000 Naira as dowry and satisfying all other requirements in line with Islamic injunctions.
Dignitaries, includes the Secretary to the Government of Plateau state, Prof. Danladi Atu,who represented Governor Simon Lalong, Commissioners from both Plateau and Gombe states, business associates among other well wishers from far and near attended the wedding fatiha.
Special prayers were offered for the couple for a happy and successful married life.
