Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr. Isa Ali Ibrahim has commissioned the Nigeria Communication Satellite (NIGCOMSAT) North-East regional office in Gombe, the capital of Gombe state.
Dr. Pantami who physically commissioned the edifice on friday, along Government House, Gombe in the presence of the Emir of Gombe, ALH. Dr, Abubakar Shehu Abubakar (III) and other dignitaries said the centre will cover the North-East region to promote the digital penetration policy of the Ministry and the development of Digital ecosystem to the under serve and hard to reach communities especially the training of the youth, supporting Education at all levels and the business environment in general.
On her part, the Managing Director, Dr. Abimbolal Alale , assured the minister that NIGCOMSAT Ltd is set to serve the North-East region and the entire country to facilitate the ease of doing business.
