Executive Director, Foundation for Youth Awakening and Empowerment, FOYAE Mrs Linda Allubura on Friday, commended stake holders in Balanga and Billiri local governments for their Cooperation during the Consultative Meetings for the 2030 Development plan.
Allubura expressed optimism that the suggestions and comments of residents will be conveyed to the state government for implementation in the development plan.
The FOYAE boss, disclosed this in Cham, Balanga local government, at central primary school, where she led her team to gather the challenges, needs from people in the ward level, on what they want addressed in the ‘one Decade Development plan’.
In their separate remarks, the participants at the meetings, The district head of Mona, Mr. Monday Shuwa and the chief nurse of Nyuwar primary Health Care Center Mrs. Laboga Marshall said the ten years development plan is a welcome idea, they appreciated the state government for seeking their input before embarking on Projects that will have direct bearing on the grassroot.
They also urged the government to ensure that their plights are included in the plan.
Recall that, the consultative forum for the 2020-2030 development plan was designd to bring government closer to the people, with support from United Nations Development Programme, has had FOYAE tour Gombe south, consulting constituents at the ward level.
