Gombe RCCG Mercyland hosts feast sitting with the King season 3

A provincial Pastor of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), province 6 young adult and youth, Sola Owoeye, on Sunday, emphasized the essence of diligence.
Owoeye explained that skilled people are always in high demand, adding that for those with penchant for been slothful they would miss their slot.

He stated this in Gombe, at RCCG Mercyland (young youth and adult), in his message titled ‘Sitting with the king‘, where he stressed that there are God’s factor and human factors to sitting with the King.

Owoeye who was the guest minister at the 3rd yearly love feast of Mercyland , took his bible reading from Daniel 2: 20-21.

He said no king reigns except the king of Kings allows it, revealing that article ‘the’ helps to distinguish the kingship of Nebuchadnezzar- a king of kings with that of God- the king of kings.

He added that kings have level, just like you have local government chairman to a commissioner, governor, president and the president of presidents.

“When you are full of yourself, you will become a fool and your joy will not be full.
“Anointing propels you to work, if you are lazy, you have no place in the kingdom.
“If you take God for granted you will be grounded.
“No right thinking coach will bench his best player.
“The kingdom is a place of process, you will work your way to the top. Our God is not a magician, He works it out.
” Being in the palace does not confer royalty on you.
“Those who lack palace protocol don’t last.
“When mercy cease your life will be a mess.

Owoeye further added that, “being righteous (be right with God, diligence, humility, understanding palace protocols and mercy of God as some of the factors that can qualify you to sit the king of kings.”

Also, Pastor Samuel Elebiyo, who is the host, in his remarks read from Zechariah 8:23, adding that Mercyland Gombe, would contribute to the political, financial, marital revival of North East.

He said, “God has assured us the revival is going to spring forth from this church. So any where any member of this church is found that God will follow us everywhere. You have not made a mistake of being here. As you leave, kings will look for you in the Mighty Name of Jesus.”

While appreciating his father in law who was in attendance, Elebiyo said “If I have peace in Gombe today, it is because my father in law and mother in law are here.”
Highlight of the event includes; spoken word, drama, dance, choir display and so on.
The well attended feast had some members of Gombe state House of Assembly hons. Rambi Ayala, Bashir Yakubu, as well as Toyin, former chief of staff Ekiti State Government House and many others.
