Gombe Deputy Gov mourns Dr. Blessing Chiroma
By Jack Tasha
Gombe State Deputy Governor, Dr. Manassah Daniel Jatau, has commiserated with his school mate following the demise his daughter, Dr. Blessing Bulus Chiroma.
The Deputy Governor who was represented by his Special Assistant, Mr. Victor Helma Kulani, during the funeral service of the deceased at ECWA Goodnews Church, Federal Low Cost Gombe, lamented the passing away of Dr. Blessing at quite a very young age.
He said the deceased had shown a very uncommon commitment to position herself strategically in life to be able to impact positively to humanity, adding that she died leaving her dreams unfulfilled.
Jatau noted that while death is a necessary end of all mortals, the greatest expectation was that she could leave to see old age and burry her parents, stressing that a situation where it is the reverse it becomes very painful.
Addressing the sympathisers, the Deputy Governor explained that since the news of the death, he has been communicating with the father , Mr. Bulus Chiroma on phone, who was his Schoolmate, praying God to comfort them.
Blessing Chiroma died at the age of 35, in a ghastly motor accident on her way from Jigawa to Jos, Plateau state leaving behind her parents and brothers.
Until her death, she was a Cluster Supervisor with Malaria Consortium, Jigawa State.
Her remains were since committed to mother earth at Christian Cemetary, along Bajoga road.
