Dattuwa Kumo lauds ongoing infrastructural development In Gombe
The Special Adviser to the Gombe State Governor, on legislative matters, Hon. Dattuwa Ali Kumo, has commended Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya on the ongoing infrastructural development in the state which cuts across education, water, health care, agriculture, housing, security, road construction and rural infrastructure.
Kumo who applauded the state Governor on Monday, in an interview with Periscope Nigeria, in Gombe, where he stated that the two years of Yahaya’s administration has made an impressive impact on citizens of the state, adding that he has delivered on his campaign promises to the state electorate.
According to him, the government would remain indelible in the hearts of Gombawas for the foundation and legacies that are people-oriented and verifiable projects.
He stressed that the administration of governor Inuwa Yahaya had the highest level of professionalism and transparency in governance.
“Indeed this has resulted in the growth of the state in different areas, especially the provision of portable water supply.
“The governor has declared state of emergency in education, purchase of new Gombe line mass transit buses, construction of roads across all the 11 local government areas.
“Also, the provision of solar streetlight (for the electrification project), establishment of the Bureau of Public Service Reform and introduction of the state contributory health care management agency,” he said.
On health, Kumo noted that Inuwa Yahaya administration’s quick response in building and renovating primary health care facilities in each of the 114 wards of the state, is unprecedented.
Kumo also also extended his commendation to the honourable members and staff of Gombe State House of Assembly, saying “their cordial relationship and support which they have given to the governor to a large extent contributed to the development of the state as well as their steadfastness in the midst of challenges.”
He added, they (legislators), should not to despair, but to remain resolute and prayerful as well as continue to support the government in its efforts in ensuring peace and stability.
