The man and his depression’s kits
By Samuel Oludimu
The noise of the present world is so loud to an extent that no one is even listening any longer, and like a scene from an action packed movie.
Strong men are falling out of the scene as there are more scientific records of suicides that ought to have been avoided had it been there was a single minute of decorum in the world.
They walked to the mountain high, far above the reach of men, the innovations and the distractions of sounds, yet they were disturbed by the noise of the silence of the world around them. They thought someone will read between the lines and come to their rescue but, no one was listening.
We let the suicide thought take the better part of them and they waved the world a badly presented goodbye and we lamented and blamed everything on the economy and the state of the stature of the nation.
We judged what we do not know, condemn what ought to be corrected, stage managed wickedness and call it civilization. Even in the correctional centers, men are humiliated and they do to them what animals cannot do to themselves. What a world!
We are building a dangerous world and busy bringing our children into it, who among us can prevent this error in the future if not NOW?
But, May I put it to you? WE MURDERED THEM.
We murdered them because no one was listening beyond the smiles they displayed in the public places, we rather condemned them for their little excruciating characters and reached a conclusion to say they were toxic to us.
We murdered them because we failed to follow them up and see what they were seeing, cry with them and support them, we are emotionally bankrupt as this led to their early grave.
The world lamented at their departure but shortly after that, we returned to the same noise that have sent thousands to their early grave.
Why do we allow one of us to leave early just like that when we can serve as a cushion to make them stay?
Why do we ignore them because they are not rich? Is it not the same blood and the same life, only privilege separates us into CLASSES. Nothing like the rich, the average and the poor in the graveyard, more reason we all need to stick together so we can together fight suicide kits and burn it out of our community.
