UNN to honour Gombe SSG as Distinguished Alumnus of the University

The Secretary to the Gombe State Government (SSG), Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, is to be conferred with distinguished alumnus of his Alma mater the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
In a letter dated June 17,2021 which conveyed the approval of the management of the institution, signed by the Vice-Chancellor University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Prof. Charles A. Igwe, the institution expressed delight.
The letter partly read, “I am pleased to inform you that the Management of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, has approved that the status of Distinguished Alumnus of University of Nigeria be bestored on you.
“The award will be bestowed on you at the Vice- Chancellor’s luncheon scheduled for Thursday, July 29,2021 at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.”
Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, obtained his Ph.D in public Health in 2003 from the University and is among few Nigerians to be recognised by the Premium University.
