Gombe Deputy Gov urges lawyers to be more committed in handling their professional duties

Gombe State Deputy Governor Manassah Daniel Jatau, on Saturday, threw the challenge during a tripartite programme organised by the member Billiri East in the state house of assembly Barrister Ibrahim Rambi Ayala.
The three in one programme was to celebrate Ayala’s call to Bar, a book lunch written by the legislator and a dedication of a chamber opened by the member being a certified solicitor.
The deputy governor expressed discomfort on why Gombe state has only one senior Advocate in a state of an estimated four million people and a good number of members of the bench.

He said the state deserved more than only one SAN encouraging the bench in the state to press harder and be resilient in scaling the intricacies and hurdles that may look awkward just to reach the peak of the profession.
He commended Barrister Ibrahim Ayala for combining legislation, studies and writing of a book at the same time, said it takes only a serious mind to do that.

In a remark, the speaker Gombe state house of assembly Abubakar Luggerewo extolled the qualities and contributions of Rambi Ayala saying at the moment he is the only legal luminary in the house.
Running the review of the book by Dr.Arome Moses Okwori, facaulty of law University of Jos, who was represented by Dr.Ibu Otor a seasoned law Don of the Department of Commercial Law, facaulty of Law, University of Jos, described the book as a unique sixteen chapters document.
He said the author recalled the on set of his life story from childhood which was endowed with hardship but remained resilient, consistent and focused towards ensuring his future dreams.
The book reviewer described the author Barrister Rambi Ibrahim Ayala as a patriotic, humble and determined individual who got himself trained as a Pastor then by determination diversified his educational pursuits to where he is now as a solicitor who represents the voiceless.
He commended the content of the book, urging whoever that bought one would not regret reading it, especially the youths.

Secretary to the state government who was book launcher said,”it is fascinating to see young people from the state are making remarkable achievement in both politics, academia and other professions.”

The celebrant, Barrister Ibrahim Ayala said he was encouraged by one of his secondary school teacher Mr Julius Yerima to study law upon finishing secondary school, but he ended up studying Theology from the onset of his tertiary education.

He was optimistic that in spite of studying various fields from theology to sociology to criminology and now into law appreciated all who contributed to achieving thus far.
