‘Grab the mental picture of your future’ – clergy urges Ekiti province 7 youths

The Young adults and Youths of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Ekiti province 7, has defied heavy downpour to attend the maiden youth convention of the three year old province that commenced on Friday, at RCCG Jesus embassy.

The two day power-packed with the theme ‘built, established and furnished for the future’ started with drama night tagged ‘Hindrance to catching the vision for the future’.

The provincial youth drama group ministered to the admiration of the teeming audience with a spirit filled ministration reflecting grievous mistakes and activities that can hinder actualizing the vision for the future.
The helmsman in charge of the province, pastor G.A Adarabioyo appreciated the organizers and admonished the youth to grab the mental picture of their future.
Adarabioyo said, “Your vision is your dream, it is where God is taking you to. What you do or refused to do becomes your future. Every great destiny begins with catching the vision.”

Some of the special guests at the programme includes; the pioneer pastor in charge of RCCG, Jesus embassy ( before it became provincial headquarters) now the church growth officer in charge of youths and teens in province 7, pastor Mrs Omolade Oniyide, assistant youth pastor, RCCG region 25, Pastor Steve Adewumi.
Also in attendance is the director, Gender, youths and teens affairs, region 25, Mrs Akinwale and the resident pastor, RCCG Jesus embassy, pastor Rotimi Feyisina and many more.
The provincial youth pastor, pastor James Adedeji led the youths in praying for their future.
The programme will continue on Saturday, by 8am and will end with Thanksgiving service on Sunday at all parishes in ekiti province 7.
