APC Gombe South passes vote of confidence on Gov Yahaya
All Progressives Congress (APC), Gombe South Senatorial district on Saturday, passed vote of confidence on the state Governor, Muhammadu Yahaya.
Recall that Gombe Central, North and the state assembly had earlier passed similar votes, adducing various reasons hinged on performance.
The caucus made this disclosure during stakeholders meeting held in Kaltungo local government area, in a communique read by the Senator representing Gombe South, Bulus Amos.
Amos condemned what he termed attempts by yet to be identified persons, to cause disaffection among the rank and file, while urging members to embrace peace.
According to them, This vote of confidence is following the current developmental efforts in the state, and peaceful co-existence across the state.

The communique read, “That, we the entire members of the All Progressives Congress, Gombe South Senatorial District, having fully assessed, evaluated and acknowledged the unprecedented level of development, high level appointments and countless dividends of democracy brought to the zone by the APC led Government in Gombe State under the stewardship of His Excellency, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, the Governor of Gombe State, within a very short period of two years.
“We hereby declare our unanimous, sincere and total confidence on His Excellency, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya the Governor of Gombe State, and equally proclaim him as a man of fulfillment, accomplishment, integrity, honesty, magnanimity, patriotic stewardship, trustworthiness, sincerity of purpose, piety and selfless service to humanity.
“Accordingly, the APC and indeed its entire followership in Gombe South Senatorial District- men, women, young and old have on this day, the 18th of September, 2021 passed a Vote of Confidence on His Excellency, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, the Governor of Gombe State for his laudable achievements in the areas of peace and security, infrastructural, social, and economic development of Gombe South Senatorial District.”
Also speaking, chairman of the occasion, Senator Joshua Lidani, noted that the current economic and infrastructural development in the state is unprecedented.
Lidani, A former senator who represented Gombe South said, “The governor is doing more than he promised us during the campaign. From the road networks to the works in Kaltungo General Hospital.”
On his part, Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Prof. Abubakar Njodi, called on the electorates to support the governor for another term, adding that the current administration has come to grant the people liberation.
Njodi said, “He deserves promotion from four to another four. The governor is youth friendly and he has come to liberate Gombe South.
