Bala Waja confers Gombe SSG WAKILI BABBA title
The Secretary to Gombe State Government (SSG) Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi has been Conferred with the traditional tittle of Wakili Babba of Waja.
The SSG who on Saturday, was taken unaware at the palace of Bala Waja after attending a state function, the Paramount Ruler presented him with a letter to that effect.
The Bala Waja Alh. Mohammed Danjuma Mohammed said the choice of the SSG for the title was necessitated by his deep love and concern for the progress of the Waja’s and entire Chiefdom.
He congratulated the new title holder and wished him success in handling the responsibility attached to the new title.
Responding, Wakili Babba of Waja Prof. Njodi appreciated the love shown him and confidence reposed on him by the Bala Waja and his traditional council to bestow on him the revered title of Wakili Baba of Waja.
The SSG while praying for the progress of the council, assured that he would do his best to justify the confidence reposed on him.
