Mai Kaltungo loses step mother, cousin sister – Gombe govt mourns
The Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has extended his heartfelt sympathy to Kaltungo Chiefdom over the dual loses of members of the royal family.
The high powered delegation led by the Deputy Governor, Manassah Daniel Jatau, said governor Inuwa Yahaya was shocked about the sad news of two members of the royal family; a step mother, Hajiya Adama Kaka and that of his cousin sister Sa’adiya Ibrahim Umar who passed away recently.

The Deputy Governor who coveyed the Governor’s Condolence message on behalf of the Government and People of the State, expressed Governor Yahaya’s sadness over the painful exit of the deceased calling on the Mai Kaltungo, Engr. Saleh Mohammed and the entire family members to take solace, considering the fact that all mortals must taste death.
He prayed God to grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and for the deceased Aljannat Firdaus.
Responding on behalf of the family, Mai Kaltungo Engr. Saleh Mohammed appreciated the State Governor for identifying with them in their moment of grief adding that, the show of love exhibited to the family would always be remembered.
While appreciating Governor Yahaya’s good governance especially in the aspect of road network eleven hundred, the Mai appealed for the construction of township road in Kaltungo metropolis with Solar Light as well as the re-construction of the Ring-road that linked Kaltungo -Boh – Lapan – Kaltungo, stressing the importance of the road to the Chiefdom.

He Commended the State Government for the maintenance of peace and security in the state but called for more efforts to be intensified in putting in place security now that the community is facing their period of harvest of farm produce to avoid famer and herder clashes.
The Deputy Governor was accompanied by the SSG Prof.. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, Commissioners of Water Resources, Rural Development, Special Advisers and other top government functionaries.
