NYSC TRAINS MIDDLE LEVEL OFFICERS
As part of Management’s effort to train and retrain it officers for effective and efficient service delivery, Management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), in collaboration with ACVEC Management and Consult Limited trained middle level officers drawn from the six states of the North East geopolitical zone.

The two-day training, had Mr Anthony Ani , a retired Director of the NYSC , now with ACVEC Management and Consult ,who took participants through thorough lecture series on issues ranging from; an overview of the Public Service, entry into the Public Service, Registry, NYSC Act and transparency and accountability in the Public Service.
Ani, encouraged officers to be well grounded in the public service rules and NYSC Act in order to stand out on the job.

“When selfish interest collides with organisational interest , such organisation will collapse. You must sell the Scheme by keeping it visible ” he said
While encouraging staff that participated in the training to strive to leave lasting legacies in the course of their service to the Scheme, Ani appreciated the effort of the Director-General of the NYSC, Brigadier-General Shuaibu Ibrahim for his continuous training of staff of all cadres.

He appealed to all participants not to take the training for granted.
